FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: bullet for firing in air media comprises a head, a guide and a tail portions. On the outer diameter of the bullet there are several working belts coated with a thin deformable material layer. By its symmetry axis the bullet has a through conical hole with a gradual increase in inner diameter from the head to its tail portion forming an annular cutting edge at the end of the bullet head portion and the thrust pad ring at the end ofthe bullet tail portion. To prevent the passage of powder gases through the inner cavity of the bullet, its through hole is closed by a pusher. To make coaxial arrangement with the bullet, the pusher has a conic protrusion mounted in the inner cavity of the bullet.
EFFECT: increased bullet performance, increased efficiency and accuracy of firing with increased destructive effect, decrease in length of cartridge and increase in caliber of bullet without increasing powder charge.
