FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: under the EOC control a K-wire is conducted intramedullary and a cannulated drill is used to form a channel where an artromedullar shunt is installed flush with an internal channel under the cartilage until total immersion flush with the bone front edge of the tibia, linking the intraosseous space, forming the medullary cavity of the tubular bone with joint cavity. After K-wire removal, the shunt channel is cleaned from possible bone chips contamination and the cartilage is treated in the outlet area by a countersink.
EFFECT: accelerated recovery of joint cartilage to prevent their deterioration.
