FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a secondary power sources, in particular to alternating current stabilizers with smooth rise thereof at start-up, and can be used for supply of heating circuits of powerful vacuum-tube devices and other devices that require load current stabilization and restriction of its surges during connection. AC stabilizer comprises a saturable reactor, alternating current windings of which are connected in series with load in AC network, and control winding of saturable reactor is connected in series with a parametric controlled DC stabilizer with time-setting RC circuit.

EFFECT: high reliability and noise-immunity of alternating current stabiliser in a wide range of variation of ambient temperature, stabilization of current flowing through load at change of voltage of power supply network, and limitation of load current surge caused by transient processes, due to introduction of saturable reactor with magnetic core, having a rectangular hysteresis loop.
