FIELD: ship building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly to submarine vehicles which break up ice cover using a resonance method. Device for ice breaking consists of submarine vessel, capable to drive resonance flexural-gravitational waves (FGW) in it during moving under ice cover. Ship is equipped with two impeller cross sections perpendicular to longitudinal axis of the vessel with open sections in the upper parts installed one after another in water-flow channels between its strong and light hulls, blades of impellers have curvature providing occurrence, respectively, of centrifugal (CF) and centripetal (CP) forces at rotation and change of rotation direction of impellers, impellers are configured with a possibility to change direction of rotation on the opposite during time equal to half-period of these waves, periodically with frequency of resonant FGW, creating CF forces, impellers blades are able to deviate the time equal to the time of approach to closed sections of the next blades, after that to come back into initial position, at the end of open channel sections. When direction of the impellers rotation is changed, that is in case of CP forces, blades are not deviated after passing the open areas, open sections of water-flow channels are communicated with sea water and are equipped with valves that are able to close and to open in case of CF and CP forces respectively.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of ice breaking.
