FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for coating reactor surfaces for preventing or inhibiting clogging or corrosion in polymerisation reactions, including following components: a) at least one binder based on polyacrylate (co)polymer and b) at least one of following components: (1) a condensation product, obtained by reaction of an efficient 1-naphthol and formaldehyde, and (2) product based on naphthene molecules, substituted with sulphur compounds in at least one position of an aromatic structure. Composition substantially does not contain polyvinyl acetate or partially hydrolysed polyvinyl acetate or includes polyvinyl acetate or partially hydrolysed polyvinyl acetate, and amount of said polyvinyl acetate or partially hydrolysed polyvinyl acetate in composition is less than 2 wt%, preferably less than 1 wt%. Invention also relates to use of composition for preventing clogging of reactors, intended for polymerisation of polymerisable vinyl monomers, using as an anti-corrosion agent, and to use thereof for improving whiteness of polyvinyl chloride, obtained by polymerisation of vinyl chloride monomer.

EFFECT: invention increases degree of adhesion of composition to reactor walls.
