FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Electrode (1) for physiotherapy is made layered and contains feeding wire (3). The first layer (4) represents flexible base from dielectric material, the second layer (5) is electrically conductive, the third layer is made on fabric base. Additional layer of the electrode is made of dielectric material with perforation (b) in form of wells through the entire depth of the additional layer (6) and consists of mixture of polymer with filling agent from natural minerals o metals, possessing therapeutic properties. Additional layer (6) is made with possibility of contact with electrically conductive layer (5). Internal surfaces of perforations are covered with homogeneous layer of filling agent substance. Electrically conductive layer (5) includes sockets (8) for connection of feeding wires (3).

EFFECT: extension of electrode functional possibilities is achieved due to provision of "transport" of ions of natural minerals or metals, possessing therapeutic properties, to patient's skin under impact of electric current.
