FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating compositions. Composition contains a polymer or a polymethyl methacrylate copolymer, having average molecular weight not less than 50,000 g/mol, monomer containing at least one of substances: alkylene-diacrylate, alkylene-dimethacrylate, cycloalkylene-diacrylate or cycloalkylene-dimethylacrylate, wherein at least one of said substances is not less than 80 wt% monomer, and an ultraviolet radiation stabiliser, wherein stabiliser contains at least one UV absorber or hindered amine light stabiliser. Article comprises polymer substrate and a first surface coating of a polymer substrate, where first coating is obtained by polymerisation of said coating composition.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing wear-resistant surface coating.
