FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and aims at surgical treatment of various types of glaucoma. Drain implanted in the intrascleral space is selected. For this purpose, tonography is performed. If the coefficient of ease of the intraocular fluid outflow is less than 0.1 mm/min/mmHg, synthetic suture material with thickness of 0.2-0.249 mm is used for drainage, if the coefficient of ease of the outflow ranges from 0.1 to 0.18 mm/min/mmHg, synthetic suture material with thickness of 0.15-0.199 mm is used, if the coefficient of ease of the outflow exceeds 0.18 mm/min/mmHg, synthetic suture material with thickness of 0.1-0.149 mm is used. At that, drainage is arc-shaped.
EFFECT: invention allows prediction of postoperative outflow, creation of optimal conditions for the intraocular fluid outflow.
