FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for curing agent production includes initial preparation of epoxy and acid aluminium oxides by epoxy oligomers and dehydrated phosphoric acid distribution on the surface of brown aluminium oxide abrasive powder, at a ratio, wt %: aluminium oxide/ epoxides - 70/30÷95.2/4.8, aluminium oxide/acid - 86/14÷80/20. The molar ratio of epoxy oligomers and dehydrated phosphoric acid is from 3:1 to 9:1. The dehydrated phosphoric acid is prepared by its aqueous solution reaction with isomethyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride at equimolar anhydride/water ratio. Novolac polyepoxide or polyepoxide, modified by tall oil fatty acids -epoxy-ether oligomers are used as epoxy oligomers. Further, epoxy and acid aliminium oxides are mixed together and injected into moulding compounds. Bakelization - curing in non-isothermal mode by heating of raw abrasive wheels obtained based on the above moulding compound, is then performed.

EFFECT: invention improves catalyst viability, improves the range of physical and mechanical properties of bakelite abrasive products - metal cutting discs, including cutting factor, runout, test burst speed.
