FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device for limiting the turning angle of the flap with a right slider and a hook on the left cover relates to bolts and other locking devices for flaps mostly meant for doors and windows in buildings. And in particular it belongs to devices for limiting the opening angle of doors and flaps and for fixing them in the open position by means of movable elements arranged on the frame and the flap, coupled and uncoupled to allow further opening only in case the flap is closed. The device comprises of a hook and a hinged plate with a slot having a flared edge facing the hinge joint. The hook is made movable to travel longitudinally and to pass through the flared slot end and to hook on the longitudinal slot edges when opening the flap. The right slider is put on the plate on which a rack ratchet mechanism is made, which contains a rack in one of the slot longitudinal edges, and a pawl equipped with a release handle arranged for squeezing out of the toothed recess and moving in the slot between the left cover and the right slider interconnected so that they can move together with each other and with the pawl along the slot. The hook is made on the left cover for hooking on the bracket rigidly attached to the guiding housing with the bolt, on which the hook is made. There is an auxiliary opening made in the left cover. A release handle comes out through it. The pawl can be spring-loaded towards the rack gear or made springy of a resilient material.
