FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: flap turning angle limiter with a right cover and a reference hole in the left slider relates to bolts and other locking devices for flaps, i.e. to opening limiters for doors and windows in buildings for locking them in the open position by means of movable elements arranged on the frame and flap and coupled and uncoupled to provide for further opening only in case the flap is closed. The limiter comprises of a hinged plate which has a slot, a bolt with a handle and hook, a guiding housing which accommodates the bolt and has a twisting notch, consisting of a transverse bore, of an initial bore and a locking bore connected with its ends and designed longitudinal and arranged in opposite directions from the transverse bore for moving the bolt handle along them. At least one longitudinal protrusion is made on the plate side which is opposite to the guiding housing. The protrusion has a height not exceeding the maximum allowed travelling of the bolt handle in the locking bore. The left slider with a reference hole sits on the plate moving along it. The slider is configured to let the hook pass through the reference hole and the slot in the plate and engage the longitudinal edges of the plate slot and longitudinal protrusions. A rack ratchet mechanism is mounted on the plate and comprises of a rack gear made in one of the slot longitudinal edges, and a pawl equipped with a release handle. The pawl is placed in the slot between the left sloder and right cover coupled with the left slider to move along the slot together with the pawl. The left slider has an auxiliary hole through which the release handle comes out. The pawl may be spring-loaded.
