FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: preparatory impregnating composition is applied, followed by drying in air during 24 hours at room temperature and sanding. Then, as the second layer, the protective and decorative coating is applied, which is dried for 30 minutes. Final drying takes place during 24 hours in air at room temperature. As a basis for formation of protective and decorative coating, a composition is used, which is synthesized by the sol-gel technology based on wax, dissolved in the hydrolyzed ether of orthosilicic acid.
EFFECT: increased strength, biostability and water resistance of wood surface.
