FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to support weight gripping devices, namely, to devices for gripping weights of spherical and spherical-cylindrical shape. The weight-gripping device comprises a hollow cylindrical body, besides, the diameter of the body cavity corresponds to diameter of the gripped weight, an element of coupling with a weight lifting mechanism attached to the body, fixators installed in the cavity of the cylindrical body and made in the form of rotary cams. Besides, the device comprises a spring-loaded stop plank, installed on the hollow cylindrical body as capable of interaction and transfer of the spring force at the wedge surface of the fixator.
EFFECT: invention provides for higher reliability of weight gripping with spherical or spherical-cylindrical shape without a structural element for gripping.
