FIELD: load-hoisting facilities. SUBSTANCE: fixing mechanism of load-gripping device has housing 2 secured on carrying frame of load-gripping device and slider 4 connected with device crossmember and engaging with housing 2 with possibility of vertical travel. Placed inside housing 2 and slider 4 is fixing device made in form of turning lever 6 with spring-loaded upper end installed on axle 5 in slider 4. Overhanging cylindrical stop 8 is secured on lower end of lever. Fixing device has also wedge-shaped tracer 9 rigidly secured in housing 2. For engagement with stop 8 tracer 9 has inclined side surfaces and semicircular recess in bottom. Vertical support plate is secured in housing 2 under tracer 9 to fix cylindrical stop 8 of lever 6 with slider 4 in lower position. Plate is installed with clearance relative to lower surface of tracer 9 to let cylindrical stop 8 pass.
