When the first excitation mode is set to the coil (11) for transmitting power, the vehicle controller 24 obtains identification data from the excitation pattern received by the coil (21) for receiving power, and transmits the identification data to the energy transmission device (101). Then the ground controller (13) determines matching of the identification data contained in the excitation pattern, when setting the first excitation mode to the power transmission coil (11), and the identification data obtained from the excitation pattern received by the coil (21) for power receipt. If both fragments of identification data coincide with each other, the ground controller (13) sets the second excitation mode for the coil (11) to transmit power to determine whether or not a vehicle is in the position of performing charging process in the parking place.
EFFECT: reduction of coupling time for transmitting and receiving coils.
