SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical communication, particularly to electronic display. This can solve the problem in prior art when a terminal has scanned a large number of Wi-Fi access points, the user cannot quickly find a Wi-Fi access point to which he/she wants to access, and the goal of saving time and improving user experience can be achieved. The method includes steps of: obtaining an identifier of each of the wireless access points scanned by the terminal; making a decision on whether at least one identifier of a predetermined type from a number of wireless access point identifiers exists, wherein the identifier of a predetermined type is an identifier corresponding to an access record stored in the terminal, and the access record serves to indicate historical information that the terminal ever accessed the wireless access point corresponding to the identifier of the predetermined type; and if the result of making a decision is that said at least one identifier of a predetermined type exists, presenting said at least one identifier of a predetermined type in a list of access points according to the access record corresponding to said at least one identifier of a predetermined type.
EFFECT: invention discloses a method and a device for displaying a list of access points belonging to a region of an electronic display.
