SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry and more particularly to the method of increasing the drought resistance of agricultural plants by watering. The method comprises applying 1-methylcyclopropyl in irrigation water to the crop at a rate of 1-20 g per hectare, where the concentration of 1-methylcyclopropene in irrigation water is from 200 to 500 ppm.
EFFECT: invention can effectively increase the resistance of crops to drought.
