SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for increasing the resistance of a cereal plant selected from the group consisting of wheat and corn and/or its propagation material to drought. The methods include treating the seed and/or propagation material of the cereal plant with at least one of the following: i) a compound of formula (Ia)
, ii) a compound of formula (Ib) or iii) a mixture which comprises a compound of formula (Ia) and a compound of formula (Ib) or an acceptable salt thereof.
EFFECT: improved plant health effects such as increased reproduction rate, increased root length, and increased height in dry conditions.
