SUBSTANCE: when the centrifugal compressor gas entering the inter-blade channels transmitted kinetic energy of the rotating impeller. The existing difference between the working fluid pressure in the channel causes inter-blade secondary flow perpendicular to the main flows, that are directed from the pressure side to the suction surface, and from the root portion towards the periphery of the impeller blades pen. The intensity of the secondary flow depends on the size of the blade angles βl fir and βl sec obtaining optimal data distribution angles along the meridian wheel circuit reduces losses from vortex formation when mixing and increases the efficiency of the compressor as a whole.

EFFECT: reduction of hydraulic losses in the impeller and increase in efficiency of the centrifugal compressor.
