SUBSTANCE: method for granulating urea with using the gas cleaning system including at least one stream of gaseous wastes for removal of dust and ammonia, resulting in treating the waste stream with a combination of the following method steps comprising: (a) flushing the flow 4 containing a large amount of dust and ammonia with water and / or aqueous urea solution, resulting in the liquid stream 26 containing a large amount of dust, and the stream 5 with a reduced amount of dust, and (b) the implementation of the flow 5 interaction with the reduced dust content with formaldehyde 7 to form the stream 8 containing hexamethylenetetramine and urea formaldehyd, and the cleaned spent gas 6. The gas stream is directed first through the method stage (a), and then through the method stage (b). The installation for granulating urea with the gas cleaning system having at least one gaseous waste stream to remove dust and ammonia.
EFFECT: invention allows to significantly reduce ammonia emission into the environment, to obtain urea granules with low concentrations of the ammonium salt.
