FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for obtaining of a cross-linked bitumen-polymer composition (PmB) with reduced emission of H2S, as well as to the production unit for carrying out such a process. The production process comprises the following successive stages: (i) preparing a crosslinked bitumen-polymer composition (PmB) in the reactor (i) and (ii) transfer of a predetermined amount of the said composition from the reactor (1) into the storage tank (2) and/or directly to the loading station (3) by means of the distribution line (8), wherein the said composition is maintained at a temperature of from 100 to 220°C during the said transfer. Reducing emissions of hydrogen sulphide (H2S) is carried out by direct injection of an effective amount of hydrogen sulphide absorber (H2S) during the transfer stage. Injection is performed by continuous introduction of the said hydrogen sulfide absorber (H2S) to the distribution line (8) after the reactor (1) and before the storage tank (2) and/or loading station (3).
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining a cross-linked bitumen-polymer composition with reduced emission of hydrogen sulfide.
