FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: coating is made of polymer composition containing reaction product of multifunctional polyisobutylene with chain-terminal allylic groups and multifunctional polysiloxane with SiH links. Herewith daily diffusion rate of gas hydrogen sulphide, mercaptan through the membrane containing mentioned composition of thickness within approximately 10 to approximately 30 mils, at 50°C is smaller than approximately 0.0010 gram of hydrogen sulphide per one square meter of membrane. Multifunctional polyisobutylene with chain-terminal allylic groups, cross-linked with multipurpose polysiloxane with SiH links allows for composition more or less impenetrable with respect to gas sulphurous compounds, such as hydrogen sulphide, mercaptan that makes possible to produce protective coating for various finished product, particularly components of electronic devices, and method of protection of various finished products from specified gas sulphurous compounds.
EFFECT: production of composition more or less impenetrable with respect to gas sulphurous compounds.
