FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the use of the firing unit consisting of the barrel, the bolt and the bolt carrier with the possibility to move along the carriage guide, the gun-carriage with the guide for moving the firing unit, and the trigger unit included in the gun-carriage locking-trigger mechanism, and the trigger mechanism of the firing unit. The firing unit is balanced so that the gravity center of the firing unit is located on the barrel axis. When the operator acts on the gun-carriage locking-trigger mechanism, the lock of the gun-carriage locking-trigger mechanism disengages with the firing unit and actuates the trigger mechanism of the firing unit. For firing bursts from the arms with the center of mass rollback for the firing unit of gun-carriage weapons along the barrel axis, the lock of the gun-carriage locking-trigger mechanism remains in the position of disengaging the firing unit with the gun-carriage of gun-carriage weapons.
EFFECT: improved fire stability with a single shot and the ability to automatically produce the next and subsequent shots.
