FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular, to devices for slowdown of freight main line and shunting locomotives. The system of gas turbine locomotive automatic brake release comprises a brake valve with an electric controller and an air distributor with a spare reservoir connected by air ducts to a braking manifold and to pressure repeater relays. The air duct from the air distributor to pressure repeater relays comprises an additional electric blocking valve connected by an electric control circuit with a switch and an alarm of brake release with normally opened electric contacts. Depending on working positions of the control element of the brake valve, contacts of electric controller switches are either closed or opened.
EFFECT: invention provides for improved safety of gas turbine locomotive operation due to reduced wear of brake blocks and improved dynamics of train driving as a result of extended possibility to control braking forces of a gas turbine locomotive and a train.
