FIELD: railway transport; rail vehicles furnished with weight automatic brake.
SUBSTANCE: proposed automatic brake release method uses step algorithm implement by means of remote release subsystem of air distributor including limiting, sensitive and reducing members. At service or extreme braking, remote release sub system provides standard operation of air distributor initiating corresponding action of automatic brake of vehicle. In case of implementing step algorithm, remote release subsystem provides off-standard operation of air distributor initiating automatic release of vehicle automatic brake independently of position of air distributor release mode selector. Implementation of step algorithm comes to successive reduction of brake main line at rate of service braking below the level of maximum normalized reduction fixed by limiting member; subsequent reduction of brake main line at slow rate fixed by sensitive member to level fixed by reducing member which communicates working chamber of air distributor with atmosphere to provide automatic guaranteed release of automatic brake and completing reduction of brake main line at rate of emergency braking.
EFFECT: simplified process of brake release, reduced time and dispensing with hand labour.
