FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: compressor for a turbomachine comprises a housing, at least one compressor stage, formed by a wheel with fixed vanes and moving blades with the wheel cavities formed in the thickness of the housing and located on the circumference of the body opposite the moving blades. The elongated cavity is made in the main direction of orientation and direction are closed at the upstream and downstream, respectively upstream side and the downstream side, whose intersections with the housing to form an upstream boundary and a downstream boundary. The cavities are displaced relative to the moving blades so as to project toward the upstream of the wheel with movable blades, blocking their upstream end located downstream the boundary of these cavities is oriented parallel to the chord of the upper portion of the movable blade.
EFFECT: improved aerodynamic characteristics.
