FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diagnosis of units with complex geometry. Substance of the invention consists in fact that forced oscillations are excited in the unit by electromagnetic method, oscillation parameters and phase difference between the reference signal and oscillations of the unit are measured in several different points, biharmonic oscillations are excited, signal response to combination frequencies is extracted, and, following the measurement of this signal parameters in comparison with reference parameters of the unit without defect, define presence or absence of significant defects in tested unit.
EFFECT: technical result: ensuring possibility to increase sensitivity to detection of small hidden defects.
