FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for adaptive masking the objects contains a series-connected digital camera with an external lens, a computer, a brightness and colour control device and a multi-layer coating consisting of a contiguous layer of the insulation material, a layer of dielectric fluorescent dyes deposited in the form of alternating colour bands, a layer of transparent emitter electrodes in the form of the electrically interconnected bands arranged over the paint bands of the same colour and electrically isolated from the electrode bands arranged under the paint bands of another colour, a transparent electrochromic material layer, a solid electrolyte layer and a transparent collector electrode layer. The emitter and collector electrodes are electrically connected to the device outputs to control brightness and colour.
EFFECT: expanding the range of the minimum masking distance by performing the layer of dielectric fluorescent dyes in the form of the alternating colour narrow bands, while simplifying the device technology.
