FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for topical drug production for periodontal diseases treatment, comprising amber acid, cetyl pyridinium chloride, gelatin, glycerol, 1% solution of NaHCO3 and water, wherein the components are in a certain ratio per one film, in grams, including gelatin soaking in water, which is allowed to stand for 3 hours for swelling, and then heated in a water bath at 60°C until complete dissolution, at that, amber acid is dissolved in 1% solution of NaHCO3 and heated slightly to remove any air bubbles, then cetylpyridinium chloride and glycerol are added gradually to the resulting weight with stirring, and then the resulting solution is added to the cooled gelatin solution at continuous stirring, the mass stirred and left for 1 hour at room temperature to remove air, then a mould treated with 96% ethanol is filled with the resulting mass, which is spread evenly and allowed to stand for 72 hours at room temperature to dry and provide an elastic film.
EFFECT: expansion of the arsenal of drugs with prolonged action.
