FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: rotary heat exchanger containing a frame which is divided into two cavities by a partition, where the drum core supports are enshrined in. The drum is formed by tapes of corrugated aluminium foil wound tightly on the core with a pulley wheel of the V-belt drive installed on the drum core. The frame partition with the drum on it forms channels for supply and exhaust air. The corrugations of the aluminium foil tape of the drum are made in the section on the curve of the second and higher orders or of a polygonal shape both one-sided and two-sided, wherein the corrugation hollows in the previous layer of the tape fall on the top of the corrugation of the subsequent layer of the tape. The drum is formed by a tape wound on the core and gapped on the spiral of Archimedes, rigidly connected at both edges with the aluminium plates in the form of circular meshes or perforated circular discs linked to at least three spokes on each side rigidly coupled with the core. The gap between the side surfaces of the tape is filled with a disperse material having open pores and a high U-value, for example, keramzit gravel. The disperse material is of an unusual shape.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat recovery of exhaust air in ventilation and air conditioning systems by increasing the U-value.
