SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machinery industry. The tillage roller comprises a hollow cylinder with ribs evenly spaced around the circumference, mounted on along a helical line, and connecting the vertical disks. The hollow cylinder is provided with an axis situated on its symmetry axis. Inside the hollow cylinder, drawbars are radially and pivotally mounted on the axis. On the ends of drawbars the hammers are mounted, having the shape of a ring sector, wherein the cross section of the ring is a rectangle. The outer radius of the hammers is less than the radius of the hollow cylinder. The distance between the hammers and the outer surface of the inner surface of the hollow cylinder is increased in both directions from the center of the bottom surface of the hammers to their lower transverse edges center from 0.25…10 mm to 50 mm.

EFFECT: invention provides the improved quality of compacting the soil and breaking the soil lumps.
