SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machinery industry. The tillage roller comprises a hollow cylinder with ribs evenly spaced around the circumference, mounted on along a helical line, and connecting the vertical disks. The hollow cylinder is provided with an axis, on which drawbars are mounted radially and pivotally. At the ends of the drawbars, hammers are pivotally mounted parallel to the axis, made in the form of two cylinders symmetrically arranged relative to the hinge, whose diameter is less than the radius of the hollow cylinder. The distance between adjacent hammers and between the cylinders of one hammer does not exceed the size of the soil clods, maximally allowable by agronomic requirements. The width of the cylinders exceeds this distance or equal to it.

EFFECT: invention provides the improved quality of compacting the soil and breaking the soil lumps.
