SUBSTANCE: device for displaying wrist vehicle operator control element comprises a control element, which contains a working zone or is in the form of a working area. The working area is designed to detect the contact of the hand and the hand of the operator to determine the point of contact. The device for displaying also comprises first and second sensors, memory, processor and display apparatus for displaying a virtual image brush arm. A method for displaying wrist operator specified control on the display device is detecting a contact between the brush and the working area of the operator arm. The position of the point of contact is determined. The operator is identified. The orientation of the hand is determined. The hand image is displayed on the display device so that the fingertip is corresponding to the position of the contact point.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the hand of the operator hands.
