FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to device and method for individual adjustment of vehicle seat. Device comprises a bench, a test seat, a plurality of force sensors, electronic circuits, a control element, pneumatic cameras, first and second video screens. Vehicle test seat comprises a cushion and a backrest corresponding to the contour of the surface and a set of adjustment modes of the vehicle seat. Force sensors are located in predetermined places along pillow and back. Electronic circuits are connected to force sensors, programmed to output configuration of vehicle seat and compensation of forces read by force sensors in appropriate places of vehicle seat by means of pneumatic chambers adjustment in various positions. Electronic circuit is also programmed to output the readout forces to the video screen and the areas corresponding to the sensors, in the form of a schematic image of the test seat with the read out forces shown in the areas corresponding to the sensor positions. First video screen is mounted on the bench in a position facing the test seat. Second video screen is installed on the test bench in the position facing the test seat. Vehicle seat has no force transducers.
EFFECT: provision of device for identification (adjustment) of individual convenient (comfortable) configuration of seat for specific potential driver or passenger of vehicle.
