FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises stages where a hydrocarbon mixture containing butanes and butenes reacts with a regenerated solvent mixture comprising water and one or more polar solvents in the fractionator to form a rich solvent fraction containing butenes and a solvent (solvents). Overhead fraction comprising butanes is extracted from the fractionator. Rich solvent fraction is extracted from the fractionator as a bottom fraction; the bottom fraction is fed to a stripper comprising a stripping section and a washing section for separating the butenes from the solvent mixture; regenerated solvent mixture is extracted from the stripper as a bottom fraction. Overhead fraction of the stripper containing butenes and water is extracted from the stripper; the overhead fraction is condensed to form an aqueous fraction and a fraction of butene products; water is fed to the top of the washing section of the stripper as a reflux; at least a portion of the condensed water fraction is fed between the top and the bottom of the stripper's washing section as a secondary reflux.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the process.
