FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of cooking glass includes the thermal effect on the charge in the glass furnace of flue gases. For the preparation of the charge, raw materials are used in a finely divided powder state, which are mixed and granulated. Thermal action on the resulting raw bead granules is carried out in the suspended state, which ensures the dispersion cooking of the raw granules in the rising flue gas stream. The velocity of the flue gases in the dispersion zone of the glass melting furnace exceeds the rate of growth of the granules of the maximum size.
EFFECT: reduction of the time of glass cooking, increase of productivity and energy efficiency of the process of glass welding.
