SUBSTANCE: cable tray and cable tray connector belong to the field of electrical cable lines laying and are designed for use as structural components for electrical cable lines. Cable tray (1) contains at least one section (2), made from sheet metal and containing a base (3) and two boards (4, 5), and at least one connector (8) containing the base and two walls made flat of sheet metal with the possibility of overlapping combining of connector walls extreme areas with extreme areas of section boards, and connector base extreme area -with section base extreme area, the connector (8) is additionally provided with at least one mounting hole located in the middle area of its base (9), at that, the connector base middle area is outside the area of the connector and section bases extreme areas.

EFFECT: design provides extra cable clamps installation without weakening the sections strength.
