SUBSTANCE: composition comprises desPro³⁶exendin-4(1-39)-Lys₆-NH₂ and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and the neurodegenerative disease is an early stage of Alzheimer's disease or an early stage of Parkinson's disease. A treatment method using the said compositions is also proposed. The group of inventions allows treatment of early stages of Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease due to the fact that lixisenatide is more efficient than liraglutide in terms of neurodegenerative neuroprotective effect and that lixisenatide effects are achieved at a lower dose.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of composition application for prevention or treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
