FIELD: pulp industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hollow cellulose fibres longitudinal splitting method. Method comprises stages of fibres moistening, wet fibres supply into gaseous flow under pressure above atmospheric and passing of carrying fibers gaseous flow through Venturi tube. Pressure drop in Venturi tube nozzle creates pressure difference between interior and exterior of fibres and makes fibres split in their longitudinal direction. Invention also aims at fibres splitting device, fibrous mass flushing method, fibrous mass bleaching methods, fibrous mass chemical treatment methods, waste paper refining method, preparation treatment methods of fibrous mass or waste paper for paper-making, dried paper preparation methods, as well as end paper products containing longitudinally split fibres.

EFFECT: fibre splitting opens access to fluid confined in intrafibrous lumen, which favors to different types of fibre processing and drying operations, and also reduces final paper fastness while maintaining its strength.
