FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ICEs. The internal combustion engine contains the ring piston and the central shaft for such engine. The internal combustion engine contains the block of cylinders at least with one combustion chamber and the ring piston with the central chamber. The ring piston of the engine is implemented with a possibility of reciprocating movement in the combustion chamber. The internal combustion engine also contains the central shaft attached to the block of cylinders and implemented with a possibility of sitting, at least, partially inside the central chamber of the ring piston. The central shaft contains at least one channel implemented with a possibility of supply of the fluid medium inside and outside of the central chamber of the ring piston.
EFFECT: invention provides improvement of efficiency of cooling of the ring piston.
