SUBSTANCE: control method of production casing cathodic protection comprises the following stages: a load probe of the lateral logging sounding (LLS) prober is placed into the borehole by means of a lifting equipment, the probe comprises a first measuring electrode electrically connected to a second measuring electrode disposed on the surface near the wellhead. The spontaneous potential (SP) is measured by measuring the potential difference between the first measuring electrode and the second measuring electrode via voltmeter positioned in galvanic circuit LLS prober. Spontaneous potential is measured as moving the probe along the borehole and for the well state with connected cathodic protection and for the well state with the disconnected cathodic protection. The measured spontaneous potential is transmitted to the analysis unit and, based on the received data, the current state of the production casing cathodic protection is evaluated.

EFFECT: improved well productivity by reduced measurement time while maintaining the required accuracy.
