FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises pulp contacting in reactor with an ion exchange sorbent when subjected to an electric field, subsequent sorbent separation from the pulp and sorbent desorption and metals recovery. Prior to feeding into the reactor, pulp particles reground, and redesalination and sorption processes are carried out by stages. At the initial stages, sorbent is used in the form of CN-, and in subsequent stages, in the form of OH- for extraction of cyanic complexes of gold and cyanides. The reactor may be made in the form of vertical sections or in the form of two horizontal sections.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of precious metals extracting.
