FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: centrifugal compressor diffuser contains two flanges, with a plurality of blade (60) arranged along the circumference between the flanges, and at least one transverse front passage (63, 64) arranged on pressure sides (6i) or backsides (6e) of the blades (60). Injection/bleeding combiantion is ensured by recirculation (Fi) in the diffuser flow (V), starting with air injection (F1) at least at one point (64) in the front edge (6a) area of the diffuser (6) front. Air injection is thus performed in at least one groove (62, 65), made along the side of each blade (60), by airflow (Fi) bleeding at the rear edge (6f) level. The invention provides re-stimulation of the boundary layer by air pressurized by combining, in particular, suction/repeated injection.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at effective fighting against disruptions of air in the boundary layer in a gas turbine engine diffuser.
