FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: carbon nanomaterial is nanotubes or graphene, which particles contain oxygen-containing groups on their surfaces. They are treated with a solution of water-soluble resole phenol-formaldehyde polymer under the influence of mechanical energy. The weight ratio of phenol-formaldehyde polymer based on the dry residue to the carbon nanomaterial is selected from 0.1:1 to 2:1. The mechanical energy of ultrasound or pulsations, created by a rotary-impulse device, is used.
EFFECT: preparation of stable, concentrated dispersions of carbon nanomaterials.
