FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to the invention the method consists in selecting a predetermined amount of samples, determining the content of fatty acid methyl esters, while measuring the specific electric conductivity of the sample at a temperature of 20±2°C, for which the sensor of the device is kept in the sample of the analysed fuel for at least 60±1 s, and the content of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) is determined according to the proposed dependency, with the content of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) not exceeding 7% by volume, the fuel meets the requirements of GOST R 52368-2005.
EFFECT: reduction of time for determination of fatty acid methyl esters in diesel oil fuels, rejection of improper fuels in ONLINE mode using simple equipment that does not require special sample preparation and product calibration.
