FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: potato pips are treated with humates aerosol made from a mixture of fog and disinfecting solution at a temperature of humate aerosol release at least 30°C, wherein pip treatment is performed immediately after removal from storage. The treatment is performed by a generator of hot mist which formes aerosol humates on the release while handling before planting. Treatment of pips with external signs of damage and mechanical damage is carried out at the temperature from 50 to 60°C. Humate concentration in the disinfectant solution from 80 to 150 ml/l. Humates are applied as a feed additive liquid "Kormogumat AC". When processing pips, the release of aerosol humates with dispersion of pH 0.5-10 microns and from 9 to 11 is carried out at a distance of 0.1 to 1m from them. Pip treatment is carried out from 5 to 8 sec on 10 kg of pips momentary.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the protection of pips against bacterial diseases surpassing all known means for ease of use, antibacterial activity and penetrating power due to manifestations in humate surfactant properties on the surface of the tubers while maintaining disinfectant properties.
