SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling deviated and horizontal wells, and is used to accurately determine the azimuth direction of the true drilling plane. A method for measuring the azimuth of the inclined and horizontal wells, comprising creating two sources with the known acoustic radiation level, installed on the ground at the Earth's surface and separated by a known distance from the wellhead, measuring the acoustic field parameters in the place of the drilling assembly arrangement by using accelerometers included in the inclinometer, determining the drilling assembly position according to the results of measurements, and calculating the azimuth deviation of the drilling plane true vertical containing drilling assembly from the design plane. At the same time, two acoustic transducers with a known acoustic radiation intensity are placed on the ground at the Earth's surface at a certain distance from the design drilling plane, and the azimuthal deviation of the true drilling plane from the design one is determined by the difference in the passage of the acoustic signals from the vibration sources to the accelerometers of the inclinometer.
EFFECT: invention provides the improved wellbore construction accuracy.
