FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: in the conveyor (1) for pallets accumulation, the pallets are transported by the respective pallet bearing elements (P1), which are moved by the endless chain (2). Each bearing element (P1) of the pallet contains the gear wheel (3), engaged without turning with the indicated chain (2) along the conveyor horizontal branches to move along with the chain. In case, if the pallet bearing element is stopped in position on the horizontal branch of the conveyor (1), the gear wheel, carried by the pallet bearing element (P1), starts to rotate, which allows the chain to move relatively to the pallet bearing element (P1). On the bent parts of the chain at each conveyor end, the pallet bearing element (P1) movement is provided by the pitch-pin (F), engaged with the chain and connected with it only on the mentioned bent parts of the chain. The pitch-pin (F) is pressed against the chain by the spring means (7), so that in the case, when the pallet bearing element (P1) is stopped in the position on the bent part of the chain, the chain can proceed the freely movement, causing movement of the pitch-pin (A) on the chain with several consequent jumps.
EFFECT: conveyor safety and reliability increase.
