FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: hard precharging system in the traction system for the railway comprises at least two different engines, each engine is controlled by at least one of two inverters that are in parallel connected to a common power line that supplies a DC power signal by means of the corresponding link of a direct current. Each of the two inverters are provided with a disconnector, which disconnects the corresponding inverter from the power line, and each inverter is further connected to the common power line by means of a filter capacitors battery and means for the noted capacitor banks precharging. In this case, the precharge means comprises a shunt resistor and an automatic power switch that switches the DC power signal to the noted shunt resistor as soon as the voltage exceeds a predetermined threshold. To use the energy dissipated by the protection resistor, this invention provides a means for alternate the disconnectors of one of the two inverters closing and a link that redirects the power signal from the shunt resistor of the inverter connected to the power line by the noted automatic power switch to the battery of the filter capacitors of the other inverter that is disconnected from this power line.
