FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: adjustable tension lock comprises of a hook, bracket, with a protrusion for mounting the lever installed on the bracket rotatably. The holes in the sides of the lever accomodate an axis with a hole which is rotatably mounted. There is a movable rod inside the axis hole. A spring member is installed between the head and the axis of the rod. A gearing element is screwed on the other end of the rod and it throws the rod into gear with the hook. A set of disc springs can be used as spring elements.
EFFECT: provision of uniform force applied to the lock at pressing the lid to the body of the locked object.
